We’re delighted to introduce Kingfisher Blue, a new blue goat’s cheese to our range of fabulous artisan cheeses.
Inspired by the classic French cow’s milk cheese Bleu d’Auvergne, this unique blue cheese is crafted using milk from our very own herd of French Alpine goats.
Kingfisher Blue has a crumbly, yet creamy texture that’s rich and indulgent. The flavour profile is sharp, tangy, and slightly salty with earthy, savoury notes and a gentle kick of spice from the blue mould. It has a distinctive sharpness that pairs wonderfully with its creamy mouthfeel.
A true all-rounder in the kitchen, Kingfisher Blue is as versatile as it is delicious. Its punchy flavour makes it ideal for sauces, salad dressings, or crumbled over steak, pasta, or even melted on a burger. It’s equally at home on a cheeseboard, where it pairs beautifully with fruits like pears and apples, as well as with nuts and a drizzle of honey.
